excited to have all these panels stuck to the back of this little funky house. i am currently listening to Amy Goodman and her voice is powered by the sun.
it is all kinda high tech, but simpler than i woud have thought.
11 panels on a 700 sq ft roof. that, in the back, is a swamp cooler.
haven’t been focusing on edibles, but starting a potted herb garden. rubble hoarder, guilty as charged.
using these cedar fences to keep the hens at bay. i like to think this unkempt ‘establishment phase’ will come to a close after next spring’s growth, but the desert garden has a timeline of its own.
lo-liner. temporary office.
client’s garden. native meadow in a raised planter. on drip irrigation. went bonkers. need to weed and determine desirable species for this condition. happy plants tho.
a desert tortoise buffet. primrose and side oats.
slow growing. palo blancos thriving. tall walls are nice but difficult to garden around. need to mix up the gravel, this spring. dead redbud, bad graft. nice winter sun tho.
that’s a wrap! students pin-down after our final exhibit.
physical models as a way to understand topography.
exquisite corpse, in process.
final monster model. really impressed by the work of the students in the LAR401 / LAR610 landscape architecture students at CAPLA (the university of arizona).
